It's then great to be able to take it down to Cobh Hospital, where hopefully the kitchen staff are able to do something with it. It looks like there is going to be a lot of apple pie, stewed apple, apple strudel, baked apple and er apple tart this year. I can assure you though that if you look closely you will see a large bag of potatoes, a box of carrots, a squash or two and some other things that I have no idea whether they are for eating or for decoration!
